Trying OSCAR 3.0 on Fedora Core 2
2004-07-15 10:45
Greetings,
I am trying to install OSCAR 3.0 on Fedora Core 2. I ran into the same "can"t
locate oda.pm in @INC" problem during the install process, after which the
install croaks. I did see a small thread pertaining to this issue of perl5
paths, and understand that there does not seem to be "official" OSCAR support
for Fedora yet, but I ran into something deeper. I searched for the oda.pm file,
but found that there was none! Is OSCAR supposed to create this file in
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl during the install process?
Also, if there is newer info from anyone who has tried OSCAR on any of the
Fedora releases, please enlighten.
Cheers,
Cheeni
