My lab manager insists that I patch the head node for safety, but I
read a posts few days ago that stated that a kernal patch through yum
had broken his cluster. Is there a list of "safe" packages or is this
uncharted territory for FC2? I can just run yum, but now that I'm
geographically separated from the cluster, I can't risk anything that
will require physical access to the machine to fix.
