Thanks Lombard. Nothing device under /dev/ seems to be hard disks -- no "hd*" nor "sd*".
The mother board of the client nodes we're installing is "Intel D915PCY", but in the BIOS I can't set the SATA disks to Parallel disks...
Really appreciate your help.

hello,

I am running into the issue on installing FC2 OSCAR4 clients with SATA
disks. I've read a couple of previous threads on "Undefined DISK0", but
I
still can't figure out whether those have been solved and how solved? I
have
made the changes on "oscarimage.master" and "oscarnode102.sh" script,
setting "DISKORDER" to "sd,hd,cciss, ida,rd", and this order shows up
correctly on the client screen. But, I still got the same error message
and
corrupt. By the way, the oscar server machine only has parallel ide
disk,
does it cause any problem?

This means that the SystemImager kernel, that was downloaded by the PXE boot failed to see any of your disks.

Once you're at the bash prompt, look around to see if you find the
disks. If you do, please let me know their names. If not, then, is
there some way in the BIOS to make the SATA disks look like PATA
devices? Otherwise, we need a newer SystemImager kernel, that supports
SATA disks.
