Re:[Oscar-users] can't run post_clients for mpich

Hi, Bernard!

 

I was with the problem explained below...

 

"config_server: could not open mpich's nodes file
at /opt/oscar/packages/mpich/scripts/post_clients line 41"

 

then, I changed the archive "/opt/oscar/packages/mpich/scripts/post_clients", line 41. The variable $nodes_file was  equal to /opt/mpich-ch_p4-gcc-1.2.7/share/machines.LINUX, but it couldn't find the file machines.LINUX! so I found it on the system and changed the variable to /var/lib/systemimager/images/oscarimage/opt/mpich-ch_p4-gcc-1.2.7/share/machines.LINUX.

 

The same happened to other variables and it is working... but I know that it REALLY isn't the right way to solve my problem. I'm new to OSCAR, so, can you explain what I did wrong and how can I do to fix this path problem?

There were issues running post_clients. Please check your logs at ./post_clients line 48

Couldn't run postinstall at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi/Tk.pm line 247

I can't understand what's wrong! Any idea?
