You should take a look at the ganglia mailing lists as this is a semi-common
discussion item there. You might want to see if the rrds files are indeed
getting writen on whatever system is running gmetad process. If you telnet
to port 8649 on any of the systems do you get a stream of XML back? If you
do does that stream of XML include mentions of the various systems in your
cluster?
