Hi Michael,
Thanks for your suggestion,
My client node hard disks are getting detected now, after using Oscar 5.0 with
OS as FC4. The image was downloaded to the client node and stars rebooting.
Here arises the problem: the client is not booting, giving the below errors and
freezes there after:

[mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] SIS a custom kernel which
supports a narrower range of hardware than the stock linux kernel. Dell
Poweredge machines specifically seem to have problems with drives
recognition. I scanned the archives and saw a bunch of mails about
them. There seems to be a custom SIS kernel floating around out there but
I don't know anything about that, so I am not going to recomend using it
personally since I cant support it. On 9/26/06, kiran

This is Kiran I have installed Oscar 4.2 in RHEL 4 (on Dell
2850 Power Edge). Iam facing a problem when PXE booting the client node.
I have tried all the recommended steps in http://oscar,openclustergroup.org/support.
Finally Iam mailing you with the description of my Problem.
