I am new to this myself, but it may be a good idea to
have a look see if pfilter is on anywhere... that was that was the cause
for a problem I had that was little bit similar.

Subject: [Oscar-users] Oscar Image builder error
I managed to install Oscar 4.2 on top of FC3 that is I got to the wizard.
While going thought the steps I dont seem to be able to rebuild client image
once I have done so unless I rename the image name, so that was ok I went with a
different name and later in the network setup I wanted to give start the IP
address start from 192.168.0.11 and it came up
with another error I went ahead and assigned MAC address to them and continued
with the PXE installation the nodes all booted and started the installation but
fails with an error message. Please advice
