Hello, Thought I'd pass this along. I have a 64 Node cluster, so I was a bit Uncomfortable about having a SPOF with the headnode. I did make several attempts to get ha-oscar working; but was unable to get it to a point where I thought I could make a go of it.
So, I ended up with installing VMware Server on two nodes and clustering Them together with heartbeat. Oscar is installed in the Fedora 5 VMWare Virtual machine (on shared SAN Storage). Mounting of the VMWare volume, Startup/shutdown of the Virtual Machine, etc. under heartbeat control. VMWare server is free (support is fee based). So, far so good.
