i was trying to install oscar 5 in mandriva 2006
powerpack. after the ./install_cluster command lot of
things happened (log file has been attached). Then the
installation wizard started. i did not have an
internet connected to the machine. i clicked directly
to "install oscar server packages...but it failed it
was asking some sort of updating....i have the
following questions
1. should i be worried about the lot of warning
messages
that were generated during the process( log file
attached)
2. why did the server installation failed. do i need
to
have an internet connected so that i can download
some
required package(log attached)
3. i have two network cards installed in the system
one
is inbuilt in the motherboard and the other is of
d-link and my /etc/hosts look like
192.168.2.1 yourhostname.yourdomain yourhstname
127.0.0.1 myhostname.mydomain myhostname
localhost localhost.localdomain
localdomain
172.16.2.25 myhostname.yourdomain
i think there is some problem in this, please help me
to correct this, and give me the correct format.
4. can anybody provide me with some algorithm so that
i can run on the cluster after (hopefully)
successfully install the cluster
