Well, for one thing you only need the boot CD -or- the network boot
setup, not both.

But if you are using the boot CD, it shouldn't mater much since they
are more active about how they connect to the server.

OSCAR does not even try to write the CD itself, we decided it wasn't a
great use of our time to try and figure out how to smartly write CDs
in a variety of Linux platforms.  Heck, I have a hard enough time
getting any CDs to write in Linux, let alone doing it smartly :)

Anyway, when you run the boot CD it should not boot you to a standard
linux, it should connect to the server and download the client image
to the client machine's hard drive.  It shouldn't even ever give you a
prompt unless there has been a serious error...  It sounds like you
might have burned the wrong image?

Also, OSCAR will delete the windows partition on the client node
unless you are very careful, just so you know.  One user got it to
work, but I would test it on a disposable system first until you get
the hang of things.  Her notes are here
