Hi Munkhzorig,
From what it says at Step 2. (bottom) at
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/wiki/repoTesting
people experimenting with 6.0.1/2 are advised to ensure they do not have a
CentOS-5-x86_64 (stable) .repo in /etc/yum.repos.d (not /etc/yum.conf.d as
it says). Accessing all oscar packages from the same place probably has
the greatest chance that they'll play nice together.
Of course, I have yet to successfully get a node to workably image. But I
can reliably get to the 99.9% mark over and over again (where the node
reports "finalizing..." after imaging). I think I'll devote my afternoon
to seeing exactly what's going wrong.
To keep with the Subj: topic, I just rebuilt everything and finished
another image build. Again, there are half a dozen "ERROR during
execution 512" statements, then complaints about "Impossible to install
glibc-kernheaders/slocate/utempter" separated by a single "ERROR during
execution 512" each time.... and then report of a successful image build.
I've specified "beep" as a post-image action, since I don't want the node
rebooting off the network again if it does image (seemed to do this once
yesterday), to start the reimaging process all over. Must look at its
BIOS settings; it should resort to network booting only when it can't find
a boot block on a disk.
When I try to start up the "Monitor Cluster Deployment" GUI, I now get
ERROR: Impossible to execute start at /usr/bin/oscar_wizard line 934
ERROR: Impossible to start service /etc/init.d/systemimager-server-monitord
and the GUI won't come up. This is new, and might be curious, since I can
drop back to the shell and manually start ...-monitord just fine.
Probably just a script typo. More little bugs to squash.
cheers,
Chris

Hi,
For some reasons, you have OSCAR base from the unstable repository
(http://bear.csm.ornl.gov/repos/unstable/rhel-5-x86_64/) and SystemInstaller
from the stable repository (http://bear.csm.ornl.gov/repos/rhel-5-x86_64/).
Can you give me the content of the file /tftpboot/oscar/rhel-5-x86_64.url?
Also be sure you have CentOS-x86_64-OSCAR.repo in /etc/yum.d if you want to
use the stable version, or CentOS-x86_64-OSCAR-unstable.repo (with the good
content of course:
http://svn.oscar.openclustergroup.org/trac/oscar/wiki/repoTesting).
I can switch to unstable if you want. I am about to release 6.0.2 and
therefore you should not have any more issues related to 6.0.2
modifications.
