Please do not try to execute multiple oscar-config actions at the same time (i
will modify the script to avoid).

Try to following:
oscar-config --setup-distro=centos-5-x86_64
oscar-config --bootstrap
oscar-config --mirror-oscar-repo=centos-5-x86_64

And again, you currently _must_ have oscar trunk to use the mirroring option. I
am checking few points before to create a new set of RPMs so clearly if you
install oscar via binary packages, that specific option won't work (you do not
have the good oscar version for that).

Regards,

Objet: [Oscar-users] ERROR: Impossible to determine the repository type of
centos-5-x86_64 ()

new problem::

[vign...@localhost oscar]# oscar-config --setup-distro=centos-5-x86_64
--mirror-oscar-repo=centos-5-x86_64
ERROR: You are not on an OSCAR cluster. You must specify a repository!
Usage: /usr/bin/yume OPTIONS [YUM_OPTIONS]

Call yum or repoquery with _only_ the repositories on the command line
configured.
OPTIONS can be:
--repo URL : repository which should be included in yum actions
(multiple --repo options are possible).
--export : create httpd configuration for local repositories
--unexport : delete httpd configuration for local repositories
--listexp : list exported local repositories
--prepare : generate repodata for local repositories
--help : this help information
--repoquery : invoke repoquery command instead of yum
--repoadd URL : add URL to the OSCAR repository list for the
local node's distro/architecture.
--repodel URL : delete URL from the OSCAR repository list for
the local node's distro/architecture.
--repolist : list the OSCAR repository URLs
--verbose : verbose output

YUM_OPTIONS are options to be passed to the yum or repoquery command.
Setting the environment variable $YUME_VERBOSE to a number
between 1 and 10 will generate verbose output like multiple
-v options.

The commands --repolist, --repoadd, --repolist only make sense
on an OSCAR master node. Multiple --repoadd|--repodel options
can be used on the command line.
Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at
/usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/OSCAR/PackagePath.pm line 523.
