I think that the policy regarding upgrades is weird. If I understood correctly, unstable repo contains new version of software, namely packages for 6.0.5. These packages can contain new features planned for the version 6.0.5 which can be considered unstable/experimental/untested.
The patches and corrections I asked about are fixing problems with stable RPMs. Wouldn't be much clearer to have additional repository for RPM updates of packages in stable (e.g. updates) and separate repository for 6.0.5 RPMs. This way ppl who want to use stable version (i.e. 6.0.4) would have just updates of fixes without new (unstable) features added for 6.0.5. Such policy is already used by other repos, e.g. CentOS.
I apologize in advance if this subject was already discussed in previous mails.
