I basically have the same problem other users are having right now (see recent post by Carlos Gonsalves), that is OSCAR wizard aborting due to errors such as:
db_type: no such variable at /etc/oscar/oscar.conf line 7 and: http://isoredirect.centos.org/centos/5/os/i386/repodata/repomd.xml HTTP Error 404: Not found (curiously, the file repomd.xml does exist as it can be requested from the browser) I get to the penguin-logo menu on the X desktop, but after choosing the first option it is evident from the chain of error messages appearing in the text window behind that something is wrong. I just want to join the claim for some hints and provide more evidences if that can help: Linux version: fresh install of Centos 5.4 Oscar: 6.0.4-1 as per yum install My log files can be found a: http://www.davidramirezmolina.de/bootstrap.log http://www.davidramirezmolina.de/oscar_wizard.log -- | David Ramirez Molina | davidramirezmol...@gmail.com | Houston, Texas - USA Ancora Imparo (Aún aprendo) - Michelangelo a los 80 años ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
