Hi Oliver,
thanks for the hint with the EPEL repository and the other links.
Unfortunately things became more confusing and yum refuses to work at all.
[root@joe4 ~]# yum install

I'm currently fixing si_bootmond. to avoid problems, just do:
sudo touch /var/log/systemimager/rsyncd
