We had a stellar February and a new record for Opensource.com bringing
in 325,775 page views and 219,300 unique visits. We had two weeks of
themed content focused on Beginners in Open Source [1] and wrapped up
Women in Open Source [2] that started in late January. We published 18
and 12 articles, respectively for those themed weeks in February.
Our "what is open source page?" maintained the #1 position in search
results for "What is open source?" and generated 12,305 page views. We
also published a new "What is OpenStack?" [3] page and will begin
monitoring the results of this initiative.
Our eight community moderators continue to be engaged volunteers and
contributed 10% of this months content. Four of their posts made the top
10 this month generating 42,000 page views.
