I am not gecko hunters, but maybe a newbie user.
Just want to ask, did you add any ATI repos before?
By default, OpenSuSe don't load the repos, you have to add it manually. This is
because I have a problem on my Nvidia driver recently and after I add the
repos, my problem solved.
I only guess that's the problem. Maybe I'm wrong.
Good luck!

Subject: [osdcmy] cannot load X after installing fglrx driver on openSUSE 11.4
x64

Dear gecko hunters everywhere,

I tried to install fglrx (proprietary ATI video driver) for my laptop (
Radeon HD3200) but after reboot, i cannot load X but lsmod shows that
fglrx is loaded.

So, how to revert to vesa?

On Debian I would simply delete /etc/X11/xorg.conf. Did that, but still
the same. Any idea/thoughts?
