I wrote a little extension to ASDT, which basically makes sure, that
every file written by ASDT has a BOM. You can find the changes in
ActionScript2Editor.java starting at line 188.
If you need to configure this behaviour, you should also add the
changed EditorPreferences.java and PreferenceInitializer.java to your
source tree.
