it's actually on the main page already.

how to connect... well...:

- download an irc client of your choice, depending on your OS.

   firefox:
   http://www.mozilla.org/projects/rt-messaging/chatzilla/

   linux:
   http://www.xchat.org/

   windows:
   http://www.xchat.org/
   http://www.mirc.com/

   mac:
   dunno...

- in the server list, look for an entry called "FreeNode" or manually
enter "irc.freenode.net"
- enter a nick name of your choice (you can change it later), and hit "connect"
- when you're connected, type "/join #osflash"
