I agree in that the content could go somewhere. What if someone were to
write a tutorial on how to use some of the new MTASC features? I
definitely think that it could be moved to a more fitting place, but not
allowed at all?

If it starts flooding, we should start with a NEWS section. I disagree
with Peter and Darron, that this info doesn't belong to OSF, since
MTASC is part of it. But we should move it to a news section.
