Thanks I will look into both of these.
p.s. I thought local variable redefinitions were quite good
practice, but MTASC obviously doesn't. Is there a good reason for
this?

Hi Peter,
You can use something like:
-header 800:600:20
in your command line to allow MTASC to create a swf 800x600 at 20fps
from MTASC.org:
-header width:height:fps:bgcolor : does not load a SWF, instead create
a new one containing only compiled code and using provided header
informations. bgcolor is optional and should be 6 digits hexadecimal
value.

I just got it to work by creating a swf in the ide and then
referencing that in eclipse!
is it possible to create the swf straight from eclipse?
thanks

hello list,
I've followed carlos' tutorial tutorial in a bid for FAME and I
think i'm nearly there, I just don't know how to make a swf
my problem i think is in the Path to swf: - I don't have a swf
yet in my project to reference
in my .flashout file clicking try compile doesn't deliver any error
messages and gives me some instructions etc. if i try referencing
a swf thats else where still nothing - no error messages
under swf preview tab it's just blank
can anyone advise?
thanks.
