Tim, I've had this problem when I had to recreate a project on one computer when using source files from a different computer. The issue seemed to be caused when a .project file already exists in the source directory. As long as I remembered to get rid of .project everything worked fine.

Subject: [osflash] ASDT eating my new project

Today I had to reinstall Eclipse + FAMES from scratch. When I try to add
a new AS project (using R-Click > NEW ACTIONSCRIPT 2 PROJECT) and point
it to an exisiting directory for a project, Eclipse putters along for
about a minute, then erases all of the directories and throws an error.
Anyone else have this issue?
