The community itself does this and MM just responds to/acts upon it. Well, at least that's the way i see it. > The good point is that the two can run on the same plugin. > But can they interact together ? and how ? > Will it be enough reasons for FlashCoders to drop their brand new FlashIDE 8 > and run for Flex2 ? I don't see them as 2 different things. There's only one Flash plugin. Just different versions, as it has always been. You'll just need the right version to view/experience certain content, again, as it has always been. Unless MM decides otherwise of course ;-) > I would like to ask a question to the community : if you have to make a > jump, would you prefer to go for Flex2 (which have the "update the player" > advantage) or would you prefer to go for a fully opensource player which can > run AS2 but on a very fast virtual machine (http://nekovm.org) ? I don't think there's a Flex2 (plugin?). Just a new flash player version (8.5) which is an update from 8, just as version 8 was an update of version 7. At least that's the way I understood it from the article. regards, Muzak _______________________________________________ osflash mailing list [email protected] http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/osflash_osflash.org
