I actually found a way that works for me.

I tried setting firefox on ubuntu(5.04) to fullscreen, which actually works if
you disable all Toolbar and status bar views, but the problem was that when
going to fullscreen, the flash movie did'nt get resized. (Flash seems to get
the onresize event, but the browser probably doesn't resize it (ff 1.0.2).

Anyway, i installed Opera 8.51 and that worked perfect with flash in fullscreen
mode.

(i did my tests with, www.conclave.ru, an awesome site in case you don't know)

Best regards,
thomas

I have not tried it.

You just need a custom app with just a gecko (firefox doesn't do 100%
fullscreen for example) and make the app be on top and fullscreen
playing with gtkwindow property. There're samples like "helloworld"
gecko gtk browsers in the net.
Another possibility is playing with firefox css/templates/xul/whatever
to make the fullscreen be real fullscreen (look for firefox kiosks for
example).
