Location: Santa Clara, CA

The Yahoo! Local Maps team is looking for a talented Flex and Actionscript developer to enhance and maintain its cutting edge Flash Map application with richer new features.  

The ideal candidate will be an expert in Actionscript 2.0 development with 5+ years of software development experience and a BS/MS in CS.  You must be able to demonstrate OOP coding abilities through existing projects and concepts.  Experience with displaying information from a datasource such as XML, web services or a database is required.  Advanced knowledge or expertise in Flex/Mxml development is desired.  Strong problem solving and communications skills are expected.

Additional skill that would be considered a plus are:
- Experience with HTML, DHTML, JS and CSS
- Experience with server-side code (PHP preferred)
- Experience with database design (MySQL preferred)
- Familiarity with Yahoo! Flash Map APIs
- Familiarity with Flash Remoting (or alternatives such as AMFPHP)
- Usage of an application framework
