Hey Stefan, First of all I would suggest that you sign up for the Red5 mailing list: http://osflash.org/mailman/listinfo/red5_osflash.org and send this there. There are many more people that just read that list that could help you, and it helps add more information to the archives so that others in the future can benefit.

I believe that we will try to get them to work by default in future versions though.
