TextInput is a Macromedia component shipped together with the Flash
authoring enviroment. If you don't have Flash, you don't have the
required class' source and the component itself (grahpic assets,
etc.). Actually the sample you linked here cannot be compiled without
the Flash IDE at all, since it requires objects and scripts located in
the .fla, and Flash IDE is the only one which can deal with an .fla.
You can use MTASC of course, but not alone - and if you want to avoid
using the Flash IDE, you have to organize your sources and workflow
by slightly different way and do not depend on an .fla (but even in this
case you need to have Flash if you are intending to use Macromedia
components, since they are not distributed separately).
