Hey Ben,

IANAL, but from what i know, using any MP3 tool is just fine if you
dont ship to more than 300000 users, or so. A substantial amount,
anyway. The MPEG-LA (mpegla.com) is one of AFAIK two institutions that
manage the "mpeg patent portfolio", and they seem to have this rule.
They call it "reasonable", which IMHO depends on the amount of money
they charge if you do ship to such many users...
