Hi João,
I would suggest perhaps altering your abstract to "successful company" (i.e.
structuring a successful company for RIA development). 'Perfection' is
difficult, if not impossible, to quantify, and will certainly not be
achieved by an increasing granularity of roles.

I would be interested to hear of other factors you are considering. Are you
suggesting that the determined factor to company success is dependant solely
upon clearly defined roles within a company?

Thank you Ian, that helps too. I'm doing an academic document about the
development of RIAs. To be more precise, the question here is: imagine
you want to create a "perfect" company for building rich internet
applications and rich websites, where you have tasks very very well
sub-divided, which were all the possible roles (even if they overlap)?

The more related to RIA development, better. Anyway, right now i have
already:

- Software Engineer
- Interactive Designer
- Designer
- Experience Architect
- UI Designer
- UI Developer
- Software Developer
- Design Technologist
- User Interface Engineer
- Web Specialist
- Web Engineer
- Project Manager
- Producer
- Content Author
- Tester
- Graphic Artist
- Illustrator
- Voice Artist
- Support Technician
- Server Administrator
[...]
