Thanks Ibrahim, yeah, of course i can, maybe with a java program at the
background, but if i can just encode it in the client, then i got smaller
file to transfer to server, you know the file size for a network application
is important. Also, if i can encode it in the client, i don't need to
convert again in the server... 

 

So, well, i'm searching a encoder written in other languages too then i may
can convert it to AS3, but no lucky, still searching...

I saw there is a useful PNGEncoder class in AdobeLib which is open source,
it is cool but it always encode the png to be 32bit RGBA which make files
very large. So, i'm searching a PNGEncoder which can encode 8-bit level png
files. Is there some guys already has that or know where is one? (I'v
googled it but no good result) Thanks in advance!!
