Oh for that matter, is it impossible to read/write to the local storage from flash, if its compiled
into a projector. I was looking for this kind of functionality since quite some time. Mainly i wanted to
read and write XML files whenever needed on local machine. Say, some standalone application built in
Flash. Any ideas?
Is it possible to create standalone executable Flash content on the Linux platform using OSFLASH
tools like the standalone projectors rendered from the Adobe Flash IDE for Windows and Mac?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Fellow Flash guys, a problem for your consideration. For the project we
are
working on, we must be able to:

1) read the WMI from Flash.

2) read/write registry from Flash

3) Read/Write local files from Flash

The flash is website based, not running on the local machine from a local
file.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Seth and Brian
