I've been building an flv player for a client and have run into some funny troubles. When playing HD video 1080 or 720, the player stutters in between buffering. It has only began doing this recently, and only on my clients network. I had bundled together all the functions creating a NetConnection and a NetStream and autostarted the NetStream in a previous version and they say that the previous version works great for 1080 and 720p, but that version loads the video as soon as the page is loaded and if a user isn't going to watch the video, why waste my clients bandwidth? So I separated the creation of the NetConnection and NetStream and the playing of the NetStream into different functions and now playback is choppy at best inbetween bufferring, but only on their server. It works fine on my server. Has anyone ran into anything like this? I've checked pretty extensively for something that might be triggering an expensive function often, but can't find the culprit. Is it a problem with my code or simply a network problem?
