Dear Scott,
Not pedantic at all as i do not know any computer programming
languages though I have always been interested.

I've read that the iPhone supports ANSI C++.
And technically, it isn't the iPhone that only supports C++ - it's
the SDK. Once a compiler has done its thing, all you've got is
bits. Doesn't matter what language it was written in. (Of course
this only relates to code that compiles down to native binaries)
Not sure if I'm being pedantic or not. If so, sorry. :)

I am sure I saw recently that iPhone supports or will support flash

Cheers,
