Hello friends, Sorry for the off-topic, cross-post. (Infidel!). But, I know these lists have smart people that actually answer questions, as opposed to most general purpose lists. If anybody has a problem with the topic, I can take discussion off-list. However, I am primarily interested in OS solutions. :)
I am no network admin, but my goal is to accomplish this feat (emphasis mine): > A VPN allows computer users to access a network via an *IP address other* > *than the one that* *actually connects* their computer to the Internet. > (wikipedia) Basically, my employer only allows admin login from approved IP's (my house), and I'd like to be able to access my home network / home IP to do so, when working remotely. Any simple VPN suggestions to accomplish this (Mac OS X client - could use other for server - Linksys router)? Thank you, I'll take your answer(s), off the air. -- : : ) Scott Helping your grandma on the interweb at: http://blog.criticalpile.com
