Your probably better off running Red5, BlazeDS etc on Amazon or Slicehost or something that allows full control of the virtual instance. GAE is awesome for stuff like datastore, rest, services but not really real-time tcp/udp stuff since it is all request based currently. You can't really have running services or always on pseudo network connections.
