It isn't pretty language, and maybe under other circumstances the author
wouldn't have written an email like that. But I can imagine that having
a particularly hateful form of legal action taken against you for
exposing trivial obfuscation is an unpleasant experience.

A company such as Adobe must know what kind of reaction these takedown
notices provoke, and how the legal basis for them is despised in the
very vocal communities who discuss this sort of thing. It certainly
guarantees that RTMPE 2security" is going the way of the AACS encryption
key. I can't see how it aids Adobe at all, especially as there's not
even any doubt that the code is legal in most of the world.
