Hi all! I keep analysing RTMF protocol in order to developpe an implementation of RTMP in PHP. I read Chris Allen document "The AMF Packet explaind (Mick Merres)" available at http://www.acmewebworks.com/Downloads/openCS/TheAMF.pdf
It seems to me it's a little bit confusing in order to understand exchanges between flash client and rtmp server. In fact, it seems this document mix up RTMF and AMF protocol. Especially, there are mistakes about headers. I made a manuel analysis of an RTMF packet sent from a RTMP server to a flash client about to send webcam capture video to the server (analyse of http://www.acmewebworks.com/Downloads/openCS/BitText.zip discussed here http://www.acmewebworks.com/Downloads/openCS/091305-initialMeeting.txt) This first analyse is attached to this mail (pdf format).
