Hi all!
I am trying to understand how are built video messages in RTMP exchanges.
Above is an extract of an rtmp message chunk captured by sniffing the
network:
00000000h: 06 00 04 F7 00 04 42 09 01 00 00 00 12 00 00 84 ;
00000010h: 03 02 AE 74 7A AC 46 79 C1 E2 B1 19 EF FF EF 62 ;
00000020h: 00 DA 3B 84 4E A0 C0 7C 1E 54 A3 E5 45 F4 1A 17 ;
I understand the following :
06 : chunk id 6, format type 0 (11 bytes chunk header)
00 04 F7 : timestanp (1271 in decimal value)
00 04 42 : payload weight (1090 bytes in decimal value)
09 : chunk type 9 (video message)
01 00 00 00 : stream ID (0x01000000)
12 00 00 84 03 02 AE 74 7A AC... : payload message
It seems to me the first bytes in the payload message may mean
something. Perhaps codec, video size or other informations. If I am
right, could someone help me to understand what do these bytes stand
for? Or do these bytes are pure encoded video informations ?
Thanks all !
Cheers.
