Hi everyone!

I am looking for help with a graphical SVG editor for Eclipse based on
GEF. I've seen that there are already many Flash development tools based
on Eclipse, but a graphical vector editor still seems to be missing.

I've hacked together a basic editor, but I could need help from Eclipse
experts to further integrate it with existing Eclipse functionality.
There's already an simple SWF export available based on Flagstone
Transform, so I thought maybe someone here on the mailing list might be
interested. The project page and an old screenshot can be found here:

There's an update site within the Berlios repository for download:

http://svn.berlios.de/svnroot/repos/svgcompost/trunk/svgcompost.updatesite/

It doesn't seem to work for Galileo, even though I'm using that version
for development. You'll probably need the Eclipse Modeling Ganymede
version in order to try it out. I think you can still get it here:

http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/technology/epp/downloads/release/ganymede/SR2/eclipse-modeling-ganymede-SR2-incubation-win32.zip

That's one of the many Eclipse-specific issues that I've run into. I'm
hitting the Eclipse forums every other day, but if someone with genuine
interest in the project could give me some hints, that would be great.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Regards,
Gerrit
