Well, we all have to make a living here :) but Darren is right on both counts -
Selenium and Flex-Pilot (co-created by Adam Christian of Sauce Labs) are both

open source tools. Sauce IDE, our valued added version of Selenium is not yet
open source, but it is free. We contribute to these free software tools (and
hired the creator of Hudson to write a Selenium/Hudson plug-in) and make

money only when you _choose_ to run your Selenium / Sauce tests on
Sauce OnDemand
- a cloud service that execute your tests in parallel across different browsers
and OS without having to set up QA infrastructure. We hope you do :-)

We have made it pretty straight forward. When you download Sauce IDE
(Same interface
and mechanics as Selenium IDE) Flex-Pilot is built in.

To test the flash/flex components, simply turn on the Flex Explorer
button, mouse
over the flash/flex objects and record your key strokes just like you would in
Selenium IDE on other parts of your browser. After you have built
your test, you

can export them to Java, Ruby, Python, and PHP if you like. (other
languages are
not yet supported)

Here is short video from our Selenium meet-up a few months back:

The webinar on Aug 5 11a PDT should be very helpful as well:

Thanks so much Darren. Lyris is using Flex-Pilot
