Hi Daniel, Yes, my current work on VDSM is based on the latest trunk version. I have just moved the VSM implementation out of the core osgShadow library, but as a custom shadow map example in osgshadow folder. My next plans include the ESM and SDSM algorithms, as well as making the class suitable for both forward and deferred uses.
I'd love to share my current code, but maybe I need a few days first to make a clean enough version for submitting, at least with the ESM algorithm which can make the shadow edge better. Maybe I could submit a new VDSM implementation this weekend after a short trip to the south China. :-) Regards, Wang Rui 2013/1/8 Daniel Schmid <[email protected]> > Hi Wang > > I'm using your submitted PSSM-VDSM succesfully in one of my projects. > Unfortunately, it is based on OSG 3.01 and meanwhile (OSG 3.1.3) the > osgShadow classes (ShadowSettings, ShadowScene) are not compatible. > Actually I would like to upgrade my project to OSG 3.1.3. > > Is your VDSM under development based on OSG 3.1.3?
