I don't know about previous webdav accesses, but I suggest all package 
maintainers ( 
http://www.openscenegraph.org/projects/osg/wiki/Community/PackageMaintainers ) 
to have FTP access for package relesases (maybe restricted to a "release 
packages" directory?).
