the only exception has been the addition of VS library versioning
information that has made it into the svn/trunk which I deemed it too
experimental to make it into the OSG-2.8 branch.
Just curious, what was the motivation of this change? Wasn't the
"osgXX-" prefix enough? Or does this relate to .lib files rather than
.dll files?
When will the version of library files change? The same time as the ABI
prefix / soname does?
I didn't follow the messages related to this, other than seeing it
caused build problems for some people, because I was focused on testing
the 2.8 branch...
