Hi folks, There is now a possibility to use the IRC chat directly from the forum's webpage. You do not need extra client or any Java applets.
The chat is connected to the official OpenSceneGraph channel on the irc.freenode.net, so you are free of choice what to use for chatting. You can still use the chat client you prefer or use forum's chat to speak to other users. You can define nicknames as you like. For registered users the default nickname is the forum's username. For non-registered users the username is generated automatically and can also be changed before login. All chat messages are also visible directly on the forum's index page, so that you do not have to login to see whats going on there ;) Check it out and I hope you will be happy with all that nice Web 2.0 features ;) Cheers, art P.S.
