Hi, I found that osgcluster (sample) support multichannel both in viewing and syncronization.
But there are still some questions: 1. Number of channel > 2. How to configure slaves? I run well with one master, one slave. But when I run with more than one slave, say 2, there is an error. I guess that the reason may be port number (must be different between slaves?). Osgcluster uses broadcasting, it means that not specify IP / computer name of slave. 2. Images from two channels seem smooth and continuos, with OFFSET parameter. But with the that wide image, we only can put display / monitor side by side IN A LINE. For a multi-channel system that arrange displays not in a line, say 3 displays --> one hafl of a hexagon. How does the angle between two displays effect the viewing. How to calculate the parameter. Hope to receive hints from everyone, Cheers, Tom ------------------ Read this topic online here: http://forum.openscenegraph.org/viewtopic.php?p=22875#22875 Attachments: http://forum.openscenegraph.org//files/multi_channel_198.pdf _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list osg-users@lists.openscenegraph.org http://lists.openscenegraph.org/listinfo.cgi/osg-users-openscenegraph.org
