Hi all,
Along the same lines, is there a freely downloadable reference viewer
for Collada files?
I've found a viewer which, while I couldn't say it's a "reference
viewer", at least gives me another opinion on the issue I'm looking at.

And this viewer agrees with the way the OSG dae plugin reads the file
(before my modification). So unless I hear otherwise from someone who
knows more about Collada than me, I'll assume that XSI is wrong.
It's pretty easy to work around this (I just place the instanced
object's root at the origin) but I'll have to remember to do this each
time I use instances. Not too bad I guess.
