Hello, That seems that you are using the old VRML plugin. For this version of OSG you need the old OpenVRML 0.14.3, nothing newer than that. There was a major change in the API around that time and the libraries are not compatible. You can get it from SourceForge. There will likely be a small patch required to get the old library to compile with recent compilers, you can find that here: http://www.openscenegraph.org/projects/osg/wiki/Support/PlatformSpecifics/Linux
Alternatively you can update to newer OSG, the 2.9.x series has an updated version of the plugin included.
