I'd suspect this is more of an issue with the Maya exporter stuffing up the 
texcoords than
with OSG itself.

You didn't mention what file format you're using to view the model in OSG.  
Exporting to
Wavefront .obj might be the best path but I believe there's also a maya2osg 
exporter.
