Hi, To clarify, problem is already solved with the fix to xorg.conf I posted. glxinfo and glxgears were not running correctly and now they are.
Yes, I am running nvidia drivers properly and all was well under F17 as I stated. This is a bug in F18 that should get fixed eventually.
