If work under windows then you maybe interesting in new generation of MSYS - MSYS2 based on recent Cygwin sources and has it’s own package manager pacman (ported from Arch Linux). Now we create repositories for mingw-w64 packages and has grown database of prebuilded programs. Also we provide in repositories mingw-w64 toolchains.
